Any news on whether Culver CityBus are going to announce their shake-up to accomodate the Expo Line (I know, wrong thread..please move if you can) I did ask, but she said that is too far away (timewise) to consider yet. Though, I can't imagine that no one is thinking about it there.

Culver CityBus has finally decided that its time to look into changes for the #4 bus to accommodate Expo.
Info and meeting times below from the Culver CityBus Website:
Proposed Service Changes Lines 2 and 4
From time to time, staff reviews routes and schedules to ensure they continue to meet the needs of Culver CityBus customers and the community. As a result of analysis of internal and external data and the impending opening of the Expo Light Rail Station, staffs finds it may be beneficial to increase service on Line 4. Staff is proposing to run Line 4 weekday service approximately every 30 minutes as opposed to running it at its current hourly headway. In addition to the change on Line 4, staff would also make minor time modifications to Line 2 as this route interlines with Line 4. These changes are currently proposed to become effective January 2, 2012. In order to ensure the public has an opportunity to comment on this proposal, Culver CityBus has scheduled Public Outreach Meetings on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the Patacchia Conference Room at City Hall as well a public hearing before City Council on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the Mike Balkman Council Chambers at City Hall. Comments, questions and written testimony may be addressed to Culver CityBus at 4343 Duquesne Avenue, Culver City, CA 90293, Attn: Service Change Proposal. You may also phone (310) 253-6569 or by email.

That's hardly any change at all... You'd think that at the very least, they will sync up the service frequency on CC1 to Expo. And what about the Downtown circulator?

Doubling the service on #4 Jefferson is huge! I work on Json near WLA College road. If my boss wants me to work late and miss a hourly bus, I'm out of luck. If I miss a 30 min bus, I'm OK.
