Elizabeth manages the day to day implementation of the Los Angeles Union Station Master Plan. The Master Plan has these goals: Transit Optimization, Making Union Station a Great Destination and Improved Connectivity.
Union Station has shaped the history of the Southern California region and the Union Station Master Plan will help shape the future. As the region’s transportation hub supporting multiple transit services and growth in the region, staged implementation of the Plan will improve multi-modal transit services, infrastructure, facilitate urban connections and guide investment and commerce.

Come to our Transit Coalition Dinner Meeting at Metro Gateway Headquarters, (Union Station Conference Room on the 3rd Floor) in downtown LA from 6:05 p.m. to 8:35 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2016. Our speaker may not answer every question, but you'll learn a lot about the latest developments. Register for this informative meeting, and join us.
Note: You must prepay and register by noon Thursday, January 14, so the food order can be submitted.
First @ 6:25 p.m. we will have introductions and go over some of the latest transit developments. At 6:35 p.m., we will start the program, so make it a goal to be there at the start at 6:05 p.m.
The dinner program and presentation will last until 7:55 p.m. and then we will cover the business of other transit activities in Southern CA for those wishing to remain for the last segment of the meeting.
There will be other reports at the meeting such as Metro, Amtrak, Metrolink, and Measure R.2, as well as a review of actions to transit and state and urban rail service. Also, we will talk about other projects such as Expo, the Westside Extension, the Downtown Regional Connector, the Wilshire Busway, the downtown LA Streetcar, the Westside / SF Valley Rail Tunnel and the Crenshaw Line.

FAQs
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Metro Gateway Headquarters is served by Amtrak, Metrolink, Metro Rail and Bus, DASH and other municipal carriers. You can also park in the structure for $8.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
If you find at the last minute, you can't attend, you may pass your ticket off to a colleague (you must print and bring the ticket) or donate it to cover the cost of one of our interns to attend.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Please print and present your ticket to the guest services staff at the door.
