Today a ground breaking was held in Torrance CA for the Transit Center for the Torrance Green Line Extension. This location is on Crenshaw Blvd and 208th St. It is the site of the old PPG paint mfg plant. Gov Brown, Mayor Yoga pants, Torrance elected officials, Maxine Waters and Janice Hahn were some of the people giving speeches. Special guest of honor was MTA car 1087 on a trailer parked on Crenshaw. Note per some Torrance city employees this was actually the second ground breaking at this site. On was held about two years ago. On KCAL 9 the story showed a top of a bus. Looked like it could have been a Torrance Transit fish bowl bus. This bus had a old style roll destination sign that said South Bay center line 3.

The bus was 341, a TDH-4519 (don't know the year). It is a historic bus for TT.
