WE need your help. The new Website www.BRUtruth.com is now up and running.
Can anyone do the Q&A for the FAQ?
Can anyone do further research on who funds the BRU? We were able to call one huge funder: The Nathan Cummings Foundation and found that there are no further grants going to the BRU.
But, there are 100 more Foundations that need your letters and calls of concern.
Also, if you are willing to write a letter of concern to The Jewish Journal on the BRU support of Palestine via the Flier that is being placed on MTA Bus and Rail, here is the Journal contact information:
Letters to the Editor: letters@jewishjournal.com
Letters should be no more than 200 words and must include a valid name, mailing address and phone number. Letters sent via e-mail must not contain attachments. Pseudonyms and initials will not be used, but names will be withheld on request. We reserve the right to edit all letters.
If you want to see the flier that the BRU is passing out, go to: www.brutruth.com/information.html
WE sure could use some letters to the editor. Please post your letter here, to give examples to others.
THANKS.....

The blue lettering on purple background in the left hand column is hard to read and gives me a headache. Also, after I click on one of them the lettering turns purple and I can no longer see it at all. I am using internet explorer.

Jeff,
I did not notice it before. It also did it on my PC, IE 6.0. I tried clearing my cookies and temp files, then went to the same web site again, still in the dark. I e-mailed the contact us with a remark about the web site.

*Grumble* *grumble* IE is a horrible browser, too many security holes, doesnt have tabs and allows popups *grumble*
Now that I have that off my chest let me see if I can fix this

To get the titles back, clear the history. The problem is that IE/Windows changes the type color to purple when you access a web link. The color of the type is the same as the background. When you are on the page, if you "highlight" the blank area, it will show you what the text is.
I did forward what I found to the website.

I am working on it. IE should be applying style sheets but its not. Every other browser I have is working but IE.
When I figure out *why* its not i will fix it.

What do you expect from Microsoft?
EC, when you figure out the problem and get it fixed, then Microsoft will change the interface in IE-7. Could this be a ".NET" problem?
Now I will get on my soapbox...
I tried to use Microsoft's Front Page with COX, but since COX does not have the special front end programs on their web site, could not. COX did say they are working on the problem.
I'll get off my soapbox now, I could go on forever, but for now...
LOL,
Bob

Robert,
Have you tried Mozilla www.mozilla.org/ as a web browser? It has tabs, standards support, loads pages faster then IE and most importantly *popup blocking* (never see popups again)
Also Frontpage is the bane of the existance of web developers..avoid it like the plague...Small children around the world will thank you

You probably are aware of this site, but in case you haven't come across it, check out:
www.transit-insider.org
It has lots of information on the BRU, including donors (including amounts donated).

one of the great things about mozilla is that it runs on *every OS* out there and I mean every OS Linux, Sun, Windows you name it..
I am currently running it under Win 2k Pro just fine. We should take this to email if you want tk421@DONTSPAMMEsofthome.net (remove the caps).
I will help you through on how to turn off popus etc.
