I took this a few weeks ago while passing by the Grand station on the Blue Line. Apparently the Blue Line is getting the "re-branding" treatment. The Grand station is decked out in mostly-new signage. Gone are the grey signs with a blue rectangle shadowing the station name. The new signs have the trademark Metro typeface with the station name on the far left and a colored circle (this one being blue) designating the line. This is more consistent with the colored circles used in the Red Line stations and at 7th St. /Metro Center. Also, on the platform there are signs directing to the ticket machines and bright red signs bearing the "Tickets Required Beyond This Point" warnings. The "Long Beach" and "Los Angeles" directional signs have also been placed in the new font against a black background.

I've noticed new pylons and a few other things, but really haven't noticed a big difference at the stations that I use.

I don't ride the Blue Line a lot, but last July, I remembered seeing the new Metro Blue Line pylon at Willow station.

Yeah, Willow and Wardlow are where I've seen the new Pylons. I'm not sure when they 1st showed up but I first noticed them about 3 weeks ago when Salaam Allah posted some pictures on subchat that showed them.
