Nice! I guess that I can forgive them for spelling Amtrak incorrectly.

That map looks vaguely similar to the one for the Nokia Theatre. I doubt that if they borrowed the map from somewhere, they still didn't recognize the public transportation options since they never mentioned about the Blue Line whenever they were in Long Beach, so it was up to the discussion board to help those who wanted to go to AX carfree; heck, I came across threads about taking public transportation to AX when it was in Anaheim.

I originally meant to have a link to these maps on my original post. (I did a little editing and the URLs got mixed up). the one at the bottom really does show Metro Rail in all of its stick-figure glory, with a little AX mascot pointing towards Pico. again, not great, but not bad considering that there will be 14-year-olds leary of taking the subway (or parents leary of their 14-year-olds taking the subway) at AX. and I suspect the fact that AX is going to be at LACC, and not in Anaheim or Long Beach has to have the folks running the show at least THINKING about the options more than they have in the past. at the very least, they will be running shuttle buses (or vans or whatever), so you know they have to be concerned about transportation.

It's great to see people incorporating transit into their directions. A street map detail of the downtown area showing hotels/DASH transit would have been good too, since I imagine many will be staying downtown.
I wonder why their directions for Simi Valley tell people to go all the way to the 10 fwy on the 405 when their directions for the SF Valley say to take the 101S to the 110S? And I know that I'm picky, but the 2, 60, 101, and 110 (north of the 10) are not interstate highways.
