Would there be any use of reconfiguring the 920 Super Rapid and turning it into an emulator line for the Purple Line extension.
The 720 already does a straight shot around Wilshire, and it would connect Century City to the existing subway in a 1-seat bus ride.
Super Rapid Line 920
- Vermont/Wilshire - Western/Wilshire - Fairfax/Wilshire - Beverly Dr/Wilshire - Century City (Ave. of the Stars/Santa Monica) - Westwood/Wilshire - 4th St./Wilshire - Ocean/Colorado
I'd also simulate the Santa Monica Blvd. extension with a new Super Rapid Line 904:
- Hollywood/Highland - Fairfax/Santa Monica - La Cienega/Beverly Blvd. - Beverly Dr./Wilshire - Century City (Ave. of the Stars/Santa Monica) - Wilshire/Westwood

Well I'm sure they could add some stops, but I think they view this route as a Hub-to-Hub route which essentially is made for people making connections rather than local service.
I don't think 4/704 would warrant a Rapid Express line, it's really hard to pull off such lines because they stop so infrequently. 920 only uses 40ft buses after all and even then they're never jammed with riders. That's not to say 4/704 doesn't get high ridership though.
