A Metrolink Station in Highgrove/Grand Terrace
Local community members, the City of Loma Linda, and the City of Grand Terrace support the development of a Metrolink station in the Highgrove/Grand Terrace area which would serve not only Perris Valley Line trains, but all other passing Metrolink trains as possibly future Coachella Valley Line intercity trains between LAUS and Indio.
This area is located between the cities of Riverside and San Bernardino along the I-215 corridor. Highgrove is located in Riverside County, on county operated land. The City of Grand Terrace is located in San Bernardino County, near the Riverside County Line.
A Metrolink station would provide the seeds for a mixed-use transit village and a centralized gathering location for area residents and workers. The Highgrove Happenings Newspaper has been pro active in establishing a station in this area.

Community video presented to RCTC on 2/2009:
Note - The video says the Perris Valley Line (PVL) starts at the existing San Jacinto Branch spur from the BNSF tracks in Highgrove. The PVL will actually loop around and connect to the BNSF tracks in a southbound direction to continue south to Riverside and follow the existing 91 Line.
