See suggestions for how LADOT can restructure its DASH services, deliver a better deal to riders, and preserve service by focusing on running underproductive Metro service. Open Source Transit on MetroRiderLA will have routing suggestions on where DASH buses can run. The series begins Monday, November 9. The links to the posts will be added here as well. All board readers are invited to comment.

Update: I've had to slow down the schedule of posting each restructuring. Google Maps has become a pain to use. In the meantime, the prologue is up on MetroRiderLA. The LADOT small-bus services would 1)Get a new name besides DASH (which will be reserved for the downtown L.A. lines only) and 2)Charge a higher fare than 25 cents but less than Metro's $1.25. There's a poll up to gauge what would be a good price for LADOT's service.
