Back in the early days of the bus system in the early '60's, many were complaining that the recent cutover to buses was increasing air pollution. "Nothing of the sort" said Metro (just renamed 'RTD')! And just like that GM and Metro collaborated on a film to set matters straight. You see, buses really don't cause pollution at all! It's other things like factories and fireplaces at home. Oh sure, you may see black smoke coming out of a bus when it starts up, but that's nothing! Nothing! On the wide shots of LA in this film, you can barely make out the tops of buildings because of the smog. Anyway, after watching this film, I feel so much better because I know it's NOT THE BUSES!! I really feel secure about that. How about you?
