Speaking as the New Yorker in the house, I've seen a few rats which were the size of puppies. That's not an exaggeration.

I saw some large rats in the London and Paris metro too. But I didn't see any rats in Tokyo, Taipei, or Singapore.

I see the same mouse all the time at bus bay 6 at Union Station, always scurrying between the same two plant holder grates.
I've seen small fair mice at Hollywood/Highland and I've seen my share in NYC underground stations.
