Literally every one of those projects is pie in the sky.
Don't get me wrong; it would be great to see these projects happen, but there's no way any of them would see the light of day in less than 50 years at the present rate of funding. Not to mention the dozen of so projects that are to be built ahead of time first.
A move like this is really just a power play to wow citizens who are unaware of what is truly involved in building a rapid transit line.

Pro-Transit as I am, I didn't fall for his scheme and voted for someone else. Any new corridors have to address traffic issues. I'd rather see the 405 corridor get built before any of these lines, and I live near those pie-in-the-sky lines. My area is pretty well-served as far as transit. What we DO need are better and improved amenities for existing and potential transit riders, like more seats in the subway stations, signal pre-emption for all street-running LRT lines, better elevator/escalator maintenance and a fully-operational and consistent real-time "Next Bus" notifier system for mobile phone users.
