There are plenty of unknowns with the recent changes in executive management at Metrolink. Don't Miss This Unique Chance to hear Arthur T. Leahy, Chief Executive Officer of the Southern California Regional Rail Authority [Metrolink] as he reveals his vision, guidance and upcoming plans to run the railroad.
Art in his clear, straight forward manner will tell how he is taking charge of train operations, fare and service experimentation and the strategic plan, which calls for more frequent service.
Under Art's leadership at Metro he oversaw the development Metrolink infrastructure improvements in Los Angeles County with a variety of Capital Projects. Projects include double tracking of Metrolink on the Antelope Valley and Ventura County Lines in the San Fernando Valley, a new station at Bob Hope Airport, the Southern California Regional Interconnector Project (SCRIP), grade separations in Southest LA County and the impletation of Positive Train Control.

Come to our Transit Coalition Dinner Meeting at Metro Gateway Headquarters, (Union Station Conference Room on the 3rd Floor) in downtown LA from 6:05 p.m. to 8:35 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015. Our featured speaker may not answer every question, but you'll learn a lot about the latest developments. Register for this informative meeting, and join us.

First @ 6:30 p.m. we will have introductions and go over some of the latest transit developments. At 6:45 p.m., we will start the program, so make it a goal to be there at the start at 6:05 p.m.
Arthur T. Leahy will present and answer questions until at least 7:45 p.m. and then we will cover the business of other transit activities in Southern CA.
There will be other reports at the meeting such as Metro, Amtrak, Metrolink, CA High-Speed Rail and Measure R.2, as well as a review of actions to transit and state and urban rail service. Also, we will talk about other projects such as Expo, the Westside Extension, the Downtown Regional Connector, the Wilshire Busway, the Westside / SF Valley Rail Tunnel and the Crenshaw Line.
