I always thought it was weird to have such a huge gap between stations. Adding one near Puente Hills Mall could also make sense for a 6-mile average spacing.
The Riverside Line is one of the lowest-frequency lines, though, isn't it? Maybe this will make adding more trains more cost-effective.

One in Pico Rivera wouldn't hurt, either, especially considering the Gold Line won't run anywhere near this area.

urbanize.la/post/metro-studies-new-locations-commuter-rail-stationsTalks about Metro studying the relocation of El Monte and Commerce and the creation of the northern Whittier station. A Northridge relocation is briefly mentioned. Moving Commerce to be near the Citadel and being a transfer point to the Gold Line would be pretty impressive. And creating a double-track aerial El Monte station is something that just wouldn't be happening without Measure M. Cool stuff.

Didn't Measure R have 3% for Metrolink capital projects? M is just 1% unrestricted, IIRC.
