With all of the new loft projects between Alameda and the river south of the Artist District, do you think a new north-south bus line in this area would be warranted? Not only would this connect these lofts to Little Tokyo and Union Station, but it would also directly connect the Greyhound station to Union Station, allowing easier transfers between intercity trains and buses. It would start at 7th and Santa Fe, by the 2121 lofts, run west on 7th to either Mateo or Mill (Mill is closer to the Greyhound station but would need to zig-zag back to Mateo north of 6th). There are a number of possible routes through the Artist District, but it should pass by the Little Tokyo Gold Line Station on its way to Union Station.

Now that I think of it, I would extend the southern end to Olympic & Soto.
