Will Rapid 7 stay on Pico or stop near the mall like most other lines?

The service change announcement says
"Rapid 7: No schedule changes. NEW stop at Avenue of the Stars in both direction."
I take that to mean the bus will stay on Pico. The rationale I'm sure is that going to Constellation with the other buses will add at least 10 minutes to the run time. Whereas the bus is stuck in traffic on this stretch of Pico during rush hour anyway so no harm in adding a stop as it won't add to the run time.

Kind of getting tired of this focus on the Rapid 7 by BBB. Ok BBB, we have brand new 60 BRTs, new stops, and all day service for the Rapid 7. Can we please have some more midday service for the Rapid 3? The last Rapid leaving Aviation at 9:40 in morning, with NO SERVICE until 2:30 in the afternoon is lame at best.

While I agree that the Lincoln (BBB Rapid 3) and Sepulveda (CC Rapid 6) "rapid" lines need some attention, keep in mind that Pico Boulevard has much higher transit demand that both streets put together due to Santa Monica College and the workers at the beachfront hotels. In order to become more useful, both the Lincoln and Sepulveda "rapids" should have (1) an all-day span of service, (2) fewer stops to increase the travel time savings, (3) greater frequency, and (4) NextBus real-time arrival information, which would also benefit the Rapid 7 on Pico.
