I hadn't seen it mentioned but Metro has installed advertising on the outside of the green line trains. It's the same McDonalds promotion as the one in the red line stations. I guess wrapped cars can't be too far behind. I haven't seen any adverts on the blue line trains. Anyone have word on the gold line trains?

Green Line cars are targeted for its high visibility on the freeway. I would expect the Gold Line to get advertising over the Blue Line simply for the fact that it also runs in the middle of a freeway.

I agree that order sounds logical. I'm curious if any of the ads have made it to the gold line yet... The ads on the trains aren't that bad. Much less intrusive than the wraps, although I can't see why they wouldn't be coming next. I'm looking forward to an announcement that we'll see some of the sidetrack ads in the red line tunnels. Here's a couple of really quick pictures that I snapped earlier today. The quality is low for obvious reasons.

The Gold Line also runs less than 20 ft from houses. Imagine looking out your bedroom window and seeing the same giant hamburger pass by every 15 minutes or so... Now that's aggressive advertising.

I checked out the gold line at Union Station and there weren't any ads on those trains yet, but they're probably on the way.
