hello again train geeks! [ ] once again i have my mind on the silver line. and i remember from the draft long range plan that metro listed it as vermont / beverly to la puente. so i ask you, the knowledgeable public. what usefulness lies between el monte and la puente? i have vast knowledge of the central western san gabriel valley, but my knowledge pritty much ends at rosemead blvd. so, besides warehouses, what is there that people may want to go to / areas for stations?

Hopefully the silver line would at least end at the Puente Hills mall. Foothill transit does a good job of making use of the mall as a transit center.

If the Gold Line Eastside Phase II SR-60 alignment happens, the route between El Monte and La Puente could change a bit.
Instead of continuing down the existing ROW, it could join with the Gold Line and continue on the 60 freeway (probably as a GLEE Phase III or Silver Line Phase II) through the Puente Hills Mall.
Then it could head to Grand ave and the site of Roski's proposed NFL Stadium/Hotel/Retail development.
From there, it can veer north, perhaps even to Mt. San Antonio College.
