Culver City Station western plaza and kiss-and-ride has been partially opened before Phase 2 opened. The only closed section is the location of the future public restrooms under the bridge, However, Exposition Blvd is still blocked for access to the kiss-and-ride.

They are in a last-minute rush to finish Phase 1 before Phase 2 opens. They brought the custom lighting hardware and it appeared that they were painting them aqua in the kiss-and-ride.

Expo Line Culver City Station western plaza seems to have been completed since shortly after Phase 2 opening. Howsoever, the lamps are crooked -- perhaps no bulbs in them. Having seen the victorian lights in person, I have to say that I do not care for them. In my opinion, the style of the fixture does not go with the rest of station plaza. They look like something the electricians had on their truck and offered to Expo at a discount just so they could get rid of them.

Victorian lamps have been replaced with LED lamps. Unfortunately, they still use high color temperatures (above 5000 K, bluish light) for LED lamps, which are known to be harmful to human health. Hopefully in the future, they will use color temperatures below 3000 K (yellowish light). Doctors issue warning about LED streetlights
