Wow! From what I can tell, the results are very clean, i.e. all the routes are precisely lined on the roads that the Metro routes actually take. The paths are defined by a file called shapes.txt and I am glad they made them very accurate (although the Metro Rail routes leave more to be desired).

Some common sense should be used when using directions whether they be directions for cars or transit. Once you get to Union Station, you should probably follow the signs in front of your very eyes instead of the direction on your print out at that point.

I just think it's ridiculous that they couldn't get this right when all they had to do is look out the window.
I think I should mention that once Google updates the tiles with the bus stops at Union Station and Metro doesn't correct this, those stops are going to be stuck there on that parking lot for a long time because Google doesn't update the tiles very often...
Anyway for those who may not know Foothill Transit is also on Google Transit and there will also be a medium sized agency arriving probably in about a month from now.

What will it take to get a transit layer on google maps? It would be nice if we got Los Angeles added to the Google Maps Transit Layer. I wonder what Metro's waiting for; they have all the route data already available.
