I think that if there is a branch on Venice (I think it should go all the way to Venice Beach, not turn on Sepulveda), there should be an additional stop for downtown Culver City. I would suggest Watseka Ave because it's halfway in between the area with the Farmers' Market and the Pacific Theatre and the area with City Hall, the Mann Theatre and Brotman Hospital, and it's a block from where Washington & Culver meet. Also the parking structure on that street could be used for park & ride since it's already used for the Hollywood Bowl bus.

Hate to say this, gibiscus, but the Venice Blvd. to the beach route has been dismissed from the routing options by the Construction Authority staff (and, I think by the Board as well).
The Venice/Sepulveda Blvd. routing is approximately $250 million more and has lower ridership forecasts than the ROW routing, but both are being evaluated at this time.
What do you think about a Venice/Robertson station?

I don't support the Venice/Sepulveda routing at all. I was just saying that if there ever is a Venice branch line or a separate Venice line all the way to Mid-City and downtown, it would be a shame if it went by downtown Culver City without stopping.

I would love to see a rendering of the Venice Robertson Station. My understanding is that Culver City wants to tie in a TOD there. Does anyone know if Culver City is contributing any funding, land or otherwise to this station?
