December 2021 status report for Foothill extension. It looks to be around 43% complete, which would mean +1.5%. There are typos and wrong info throughout the report. They just copy/paste the prior report each time, and update some of the sections. Sometimes they forget to update certain items, and they forgot to update the actual progress in this report. I calculated the percent completion based on the expenditure summary at the end of the report.

With the regional connector opening this year I feel like it will be inevitable that metro will split service on the foothill branch from the Pasadena branch to balance out passenger loads.
I'm aware of an existing pocket track near the sierra madre villa station to turn back A Line trains.
Does anyone know of a pocket track south of the memorial park station to turn back foothill line trains.
Advocates for the foothill line claim that they want this service to get them into Pasadena and not DTLA and a split there would seem to accommodate for that.
