Online, it seems like things are very, very quiet about the future of Omnitrans' grand sbX BRT plan. On the Omnitrans website, there's no mention of future expansion on the sbX page, and their Reports section is sorely lacking. According to their 2014-2015 budget, they're planning on [spending the astounding sum of 1.7 million](http://www.omnitrans.org/about/reports/pdf/FY%202014-2015%20Budget.pdf) on sbX Green Line operations. Nowhere is capital costs for future expansion mentioned. Not even in the Planning Department summary (which will apparently be rolled into Marketing next year). The last project document on the full sbX system dates back to 2010.And of course, the last post by the TTC on the Inland Empire blog regarding sbX is now a year old. I did find the West Valley Connector Corridor (former Purple/Yellow Line) planning document, but it's part of the 2015-2020 SRTP and does not include any sort of actual construction timescale. Also, going by the current budget and projected cost of full BRT implementation, I'm fully expecting Omnitrans to decide on turning this line into a Rapid - since it's 10% of the cost of full BRT. It appears that the City of Ontario may at least pay for the construction of center bus lanes through their city, according to the SRTP (pages 132-134). However, those documents date back to last year before the sbX Green Line even opened, and there have been no updates since. So, as we roll into March of 2015, is anyone aware of any updates with Omnitrans?
