;D Yesterday I report seeing several OCTA buses sitting in a yard off Steward and Grey rd. in Downey,Ca. But I was wrong!I thought the buses were New Flyer's . It is a bunch of NABI's sitting in this yard in Downey, I got a closer look today and there are now a couple of Articulated buses there too. And these buses say Metro on them. (there are Metro and OCTA buses). If anyone gas the time to investigate this yard please feel free to do so, Maybe someone could call Andy from RTD Press, he lives in the hood and possibly can get on over there and find our if this is indeed a new yard for NABI. Sincerely The Roadtrainer.

If anyone has the time and a bike, the intersection of Firestone Boulevard and Steward and Grey Road is 1.3 miles from the Norwalk Green Line station. From Norwalk station, bike 0.7 mile north on Hoxie Avenue, then 0.6 mile northwest on Firestone Boulevard. Biking should take about 10 minutes from the Green Line station. Roadtrainer, I tried finding out where Division 4 is located on Google Earth, but I don't see any space resembling a bus yard, could you elaborate on the exact location? It seems that if this is Metro's Division 4, it would be used for non-revenue vehicles.

For those without bikes, Line 115 also follows this route and runs every 15-20 minutes during the day. Line 115 also connects from the Blue Line at the Firestone Station.

;DThe old Downey yard is located on Telegraph Rd. in Downey. It is just east of the intersection of Slauson Ave. and Telegraph Rd. it was probably closed at the same time as Long Beach and Pomona Yards. were..(This was called by some as the sell-out to Foothill Transit). Right now I train people to drive 15 Passenger van with a wheelchair lift. And I work across from Old RTD/Metro yard here in Long Beach. They just had a auction Last week and some old twinkee's were sold off and taken to whereever. Sincerely The Roadtrainer

The RTD Pomona yard is long gone. Foothill built a completely new yard in Pomona.
Long Beach's Division 12 was active until 1997, and became a storage yard for decommissioned buses in that time. Metro has sold off the yard, but has not vacated it yet.

;D Update! The yard in Downey is not really a new division in Downey, not is it a yard for NABI. I went in and found out that it is a contractor yard for a certain mechanic firm. And at this yard they will be replacing motors in buses for the Metro and OCTA. Sincerely The Roadtrainer
