One of the most frustrating things for me is the lack of any north-south lines at late night west of Fairfax. I live very close to Venice Blvd, and luckily the 33 runs 24 hours (although it has many flaws). If I'm in downtown late, I can take the 33 home and if I'm in Hollywood I can take the 217 and transfer at Venice (although the schedules need to be coordinated to eliminate the long wait), but if I'm in Westwood there's no bus at all unless I want to take an unnecessary trip through Santa Monica. I know there's 24 hour service on the 4 and 20, but once I reach Westwood, there's no bus to connect to. I know that the 105 already has 24 hour service between the Baldwin Hills and Vernon, these runs should be extended to the whole line. Because of the nightlife on the Sunset Strip and the late-night 2 turning south at Fairfax, I would have the late-night runs zig-zag to the west end of the Strip via Melrose and Doheny, then follow the whole Strip east, connecting all the way to central Hollywood. The 233/761 through Sepulveda Pass should run 24 hours on an extended route following Culver CityBus 6. Instead of having a separate Rapid 6, the 761 would be extended while Culver CityBus would retain the local service (except for late night). Another important route that needs 24-hour service is the Big Blue Bus 3 between Santa Monica and the Green Line/LAX. The Big Blue Bus lines 12 (some of the route through Palms may be changed) and 14 (I would extend it to Playa Vista and Playa Del Rey) should also have 24-hour service, although they are much lower priorities. Lines which need 24-hour service as a high priority east of Fairfax include the 212 (La Brea), the 210 (Crenshaw), the 200 (Alvarado). The 30 (Pico)'s late night route should be extended all the way to Santa Monica while the Big Blue Bus is not running, and the 330 and Super 7 should become one continuous limited route.
